James Doran & Bridget Doyle
On the twenty fifth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-two, whereas at the prone of tge High Mass in St Patrick's Church has been once published the bann of marriage between James Doran, timber tower, son of age of deceased Patrick Doran and of Catherine Griffin of this city on the one part and Bridget Doyle minor of deceased John Doyle and of Rose Power of this city on the other part whereas also a dispensation of two publications dated on the twenty second instant has been granted by the Bishop of Thua (?), Administration of this diocese, the minor having obtained the consent of her mother, we the undersigned priest vicar having discovered no impediment to their marriage have received their mutual consent to be united in the bonds of Holy Matrimony and have given them the nuptial benediction in presence of William Burns and of Ellen Drenhen undersigned with the contracting parties.

- The 1881 Census notes James' occupation as "Timber Tower". He is reported to be 37, which would suggest being born in about 1844. Previous family records showed his year of birth as 1839.

On the first day of June, One thousand eight hundred and eighty three, we the undersigned priest have interred in the Cemetery of this Church, the body of James Doran (timbertower) husband of Bridget Doyle; aged forty-four years deceased on the thirtieth ulterior.
Disease: Apoplexy

Notes: Jeremiah was the same priest that baptized Margaret Robinson, James' grand-daughter, in 1899. Apoplexy is a stroke or hemmorage.
