  • Notes 
    • Captain Alfred Charles Seton Christopher married Melesina Ethel Maude Chenevix-Trench, daughter of Philip Charles Chenevix-Trench and Ellen Maria Turner, on 7 July 1892. He died on 12 October 1934.

      He was invested as a Knight of Justice, Order of St. John of Jerusalem. He lived at 40 Carlyle Square, London, England. He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Seaforth Highlanders.

      Captain Christopher served with the Seaforth Highlanders in Southern Afghanistan, receiving a medal in 1880. He served as Assistant to the Governor of Bombay from 1881 to 1882 and as Assitant to the Governor of Ceylon from 1886 to 1889. He was with the NW District Staff from 1892 to 1897. He was a Knight of Justice of the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem. He served as Mayor of Chelsea from 1925 to 1926. He was a Gold Staff Officer at the Coronation of King George. [3]
